Not really. Although I vote for Chicago. It's practically half way between Maine and California (and it's the only place I could afford to go to until I graduate and get a full time job). I brought up Chicago before though and no one responded to that idea, so I'm guessing it's not an appealing locale for others.

Well, our world-wide status kinda works against us in this aspect, sadly. I mean, I LOVE having people here from all over the globe, but it does make it difficult to plan any kind of real life meeting.

Where in Canada were you?

Just around in Ontario, mainly came to visit Niagara Falls, which was awesome, bit commercialized though, all the places we visited were great though, wish we'd spent more time there.

No actually . He was quite cute and looked smart (was wearing a suit) but I think he was in his 30's. lol

Its really weird, there were quite a lot of smart looking people around town today, usually everyone is scruffy....must be tourists.

Well, considering we're all "real" people behind our computers...wherever we all go, respectively, is where others can "find" us. We aren't just usernames and profiles, after all, we're all as "real" as anyone else out there!

I've suggested a CF meet before, and I'd love to attend one. But I didn't get much response from people who wanted to do it. If people change their minds and want to do one, just let me know, I love organizing that kind of stuff

Well, it's closer to you than many parts of the US. It's near the northern border of Illinois. The area on the thread that's getting the most votes is in and around Texas; I would imagine that would be farther away.

I would love to go to Vancouver (or Seattle, which is close) for a meetup if I had the monies.
