and your least favorite thing? (how can you constructively elicit change in that area?)

I have to admit, I liked the old forum a lot better. I really miss the old avatars and the old blessing system.

I could do without the bickering that goes on - I would make everyone follow the golden rule, if I could.

My favorite thing is the fellowship. I love how active these forums are. It's nice to have forums to go to where there welcoming and intelligent Christians (although the non-Christians tend to be fabulous here too).

My least favorite is the whining (bemoaning being single or whatever, complaining about the opposite gender in non-constructive way, and other behaviors that make me want to give someone a time out and a pacifier). You could say that people are naturally going to be down about being singles sometimes, but I see a lot of unnecessary whining on other places within CF too.

The good far outweighs the bad IMO.

I liked the way things were before the big update (especially the old avatars and controlled sigs) too.

My favorite is the large and active Orthodox community here. We're a minority in the US so to be able to communicate with so many brothers and sisters is edifying.



My least favorite is the polarization in the theology forums. You're either a Protestant that says "Bible Only", walking down the straight and narrow path; or you're a loony that blindly obeys 'meaningless traditions'. *eye roll*

My favourite aspect of CF is that there are a diversity of people on here, makes this place interesting.

The worst aspect of CF is that the fact that debates can't happen in life stages and whenever there is a debate people lose respect for each other.

Hmmm..........I'd have to say what I like most about CF has got to be the people. There are so many great members here!

What I like least is the cat fights and nastiness that sometimes occurs. I'm a moderator so I'm supposed to get people to stop doing these things by doing my job. This is problematic, though, as I don't want the flaming to stop just because "it's the rules", I want people to want to stop fighting, if that makes sense.

1. I really like the people here and the intelligent (and sometimes silly) discussions that go on.

2. I really wish the Singles area would get over this whole "men vs. women" aspect that's been going on. Some of the men are mad because "women don't understand them" and some of the women believe that "all men are bad." There are some seriously unhealthy dispositions floating around and we should be working together instead of trying have Battles of the Sexes in every thread.

I LOVE CF. I'm currently "church hopping" around the area looking for a church that feels right to me, and I have yet to really enjoy any congregation that I've visited. CF is a great way to find fellowship and it's really fed my spirit.

As to how to improve and/or complaints... Nil.

I would say my favorite thing about CF is the people. My least favorite thing is all the bickering that goes on, especially in the singles forum, but I agree with Historia. The good far outweighs the bad.
