He considers it sin, but I have a hard time believing that anyone would bond equally with someone whom they have merely fantasized over vs. someone they actually had intercourse with. Besides, I have yet to hear of a person making another person pregnant by remote.
Still doesn't make it any less of a sin. There is just less serious repercussion in the natural, but if you break one part of the law then you guilty of breaking all of it. Sin is sin and the wages of sin is death.
Actually the answer to your question is no, for me.Hmm... so if any of you reading this are virgins, would you feel more comfortable having sex with someone on your wedding night if they had oral sex but were technical virgin than with somebody who has had traditional intercourse or is it all the same?
So you would prefer the oral non-virgin/technical virgin to the guy who has had traditional intercourse?Actually the answer to your question is no, for me.
lol believe it or not, I have to think about this. I didn't realize how hard of a choice this was for me. I think however that I would NOT prefer the man who had traditional intercourse but that does not mean I would think the other man was any purer than the former. So you would prefer the oral non-virgin/technical virgin to the guy who has had traditional intercourse?
The law might as well be not to breathe air. If you are a living creature, it's not going to happen. And to ask forgiveness for the way you are born is just a tad off IMO.
hehe, it is a thinker... I mean, when you kiss him..lol believe it or not, I have to think about this. I didn't realize how hard of a choice this was for me. That's a good point. "Virgin" is a term traditionally used to describe young, unmarried women. It may also be fair to say that men who wait are more concerned with "doing the right thing" than being regarded as "pure". Not many men talk about waiting in the context of purity....Usually to describe unmarried women. You don't really hear men get called this.
I recently read an article about prostitution in Afghanistan. Apparently, many Afghani prostitutes only have anal sex in order to save their virginity for marriage. I don't get it.
What do you consider to be virginity? Are these Afghani "women of the night" virgins in your eyes? For those of you who only plan on marrying a virgin, does virginity only mean traditional intercourse?
That last smilie is pretty ironic.
Why would I say it's less of a sin? All sin is "sinful enough." I'm just saying that lust does not equal a loss of virginity.Still doesn't make it any less of a sin. There is just less serious repercussion in the natural, but if you break one part of the law then you guilty of breaking all of it. Sin is sin and the wages of sin is death.
Yeah, a murderer who didn't kill anybody.I would not put a person who hates his brother on the same level as a bloodthirsty murderer either, but God says he who hates his brother is a murderer. Remember, men judge the outward but God looks at the heart.

I was waiting for somebody to say that... I was thinking that's what most of you feel. That purity is paramount...Thinking about this more, purity is important to me. I would rather marry a guy who was not a virgin but who was trying to live purely now than a guy who's a virgin but obsessed with porn or was really perverted.
Ok, I see what you are saying but then waht do you make of the scriptures that say if you even look at a woman with lust then you have committed adultry, because doesn't that imply that you have cheated on your wife. Seriously, not being argumentative or trying to debate. I want to legitimately know what you think about it.
But isn't a person who thinks about having sex with a woman a fornicator who didn't actually have sex?Yeah, a murderer who didn't kill anybody.
