• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm not everyone, but I'm good. How about yourself??

I'm doing well, but will be better. :) I haven't been around here much lately (playing elsewhere), and have missed everyone. What's new?

Our weather is pretty much normal for June: overcast in the morning, clearing in the afternoon. It seems a little warmer than usual, but nothing like what you're experiencing in DE, Dawn.

Hi farmsys!

When I moved from the town that I lived in last summer, I went back on the July 4 weekend to finalize the move. I left my house at about 9 AM, and got to the town at around 11:15 AM.

There's a credit union on the corner near the condo I lived in that had one of those thermometer/clock deals. It was 105 degrees - - at 11:15 AM. And that's not even the hottest time of the day.

I went back out about an hour later, and it was 115 degrees. When I got back to my condo, I shut myself in so I don't know what the high temperature was for that day.

. . .

Well, . . . it's in the recreation area. I've been hanging out in the bible games area. You're more than welcome. :)

Oh yeah, I like it cold...at least cool when I sleep, it's easier to breathe. Do you live near MN John?

I'm not sure, but I think I do, at least from what he's said elsewhere in the FFs. It's about 10 miles away.

I think. I'm awful with distances.

:o

^_^

Okay, so I'm not that bad. But I think it's understandable, especially - - at least a little - - when you don't live in an area.

But, really, MN John literally lives just up the freeway from me, a road I take to church weekly, you'd think I'd know the distance.
