It's coming! My mom has been helping us out a lot. We've got the kid's rooms and the kitchen mostly done (left out the essentials). We worked on the office area last night. I have taken so much stuff to the thrift store! I'm happy for the chance to get rid of a lot of stuff that we don't need.

I'm not sure. but I just found the bank! beside the blessings you see check, I hit that and it took me to the bank. Now we get charged for every transaction we make at the bank, have min and max numbers. The max amount in savings is 10,000. That has changed. Also, you don't get paid like the other, it is a 30 day interest. weird stuff going on now..and you can get a loan that must be paid back with interest.

kaykay, how is work? Storms yet? I see we are to get some more stormy weather this weekend. sigh. hopefully not as bad as last weekend.

We are forecast to possibly get some bad storms today. I hope we don't and am praying against them!

We are having the outside of our house re-painted right now...or we're trying to. They were set to start on Monday but couldn't because of the rain. But we need the rain here so....I guess it will happen when it happens. But I don't want storms. NO.

How's your area doing cleaning up after that blast of damage? How is the woman who was in critical condition?

Thats great on the packing. Sorting things out to take to the thrift store is such a wise move. You will be so happy once you get into your new house, plus, you will be able to buy things from there to put into your new house.

And you don't have to wag all that stuff across country which has got to be a relief to you guys.

Kids still loving the idea of moving? How about your mom?

Yeah, I didn't especially like the bank changes. Trying not to complain. Not doing a very good job at it. It is what it is I guess.

Whew, it sure is good to be back here where we can just be friends and hang out, and let out hair hang down (sorry Bt that was not a personal dig) I never noticed that we got a blessing for each post? So now I will have to make hundreds of posts so I can go on a shopping spree atr the end of out free month..

The area is gettting cleaned way quicker than I thought. The last major highway that was closed opened yesterday. There was one loop road that had a lot of homes actually it was like a small subdivision loop is still closed. All the houses were either destroyed or severely damaged along it. It will take a long time for there, but everywhere else is getting cleaned up fast.

I have not heard how she is doing this morning. I know she has not died, and that is wonderful news, so maybe she is getting better.

I pray you don't get any storms either! These things are really happening too often this year, and are really bad.

I can't remember if I told you guys or not, but there were 3 tornadoes that hit New Albany, 1 F2's and 1 F-l. All almost following the same path!

Kaykay, I really don't like the changes either, and the new look reminds me of 'that other place' a bit. I kinda liked the other look better, and loved being able to work myself into new jobs etc for more blessings, I have not found that here yet, wonder if it is done away with.

Have any of you looked at the characters yet? I now know what they meant by looking like children. sigh.

Kids...mixed feelings. My son (8) is starting to get a little upset because he will miss my family. Other than that, he seems excited. I caught him crying in bed the other night. He is sad to be leaving Grandma. On the other hand, he is really excited about the drive, the new home, going to a new kid's camp and a new school. I think he will be fine. I moved many times as a kid and I know what he's going through.

My daughter (5) is just plain mad that her toys are packed (not everything, but it seems that everything she wants to play with is packed). Everytime I tell her that something was packed, she sighs a big huge sigh and stomps down the hallway. She really just doesn't understand fully what is going on.

My mom is doing much better. She is still sad that she won't have us around, but she is being very supportive. I'm glad for that.

It reminds me of the other, other place, the unmoderated place where I didn't stay very long.

I have equipped my character but she is not showing yet. They are supposed to be fixing that today. You can get your old "CF" character back. You don't have to use the new one. You go into living avatars to do it. The size is small now and there seems to be some discussion that that will change. Also, you can make the face larger for right now by "cropping." Since mine hasn't appeared yet, I haven't done that. Right now you can also buy all the clothes you want for free or 1 blessing.
