Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
I don't think that the private pm deals will be such a big deal because if someone's goal is just to get a huge reputation withoug the fellowship, they can do that. The problem I see is when they bring that back into the thread and start using the high rep power as power and not as something they can give.
Not having to restrict things would be best, but it does seem that it's where things are heading.
very possible... but.... who's going to be the one to request them (they'll get attacked by rotten tomatoes) and how do we figure out exactly what the problem is?
I guess that we will have to really take a good look at all the factors in the problem and then make a list. As to who will make a request... I don't know. For the sake of the community I would be willing to, even though I think that it would make me an enemy to some.
I guess that would tell me who my friends are...Exactly -- that's my worry. a hero to some, an enemy to others.

to be honest, a private thread mite be better to open to hash out possible sources of the problems --- but then, you need several people giving input to pinpoint their issues... complaints they have.
