• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I believe a demon is lying to you.

Haha! You can't go around calling Jesus Christ a demon! If you cannot recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking truth, then I'm sorry, that is a very serious problem you have there. I will be praying for you, Brieuse.

Rejecting the Word, then rejectiong the Holy Spirit when He speaks to you, and now declaring a child of God demonic. Wires are definitely crossed in your house.

Wrong, I am not demonically possessed. I have been baptised, and the Holy Spirit dwells in me.
Further I know and have proven that the Bible is not correctly translated regarding the so-called sin of homosexuality, and further have seen no proof on your side that it is correctly translated, therefore I believe that is another lie that you have fallen for.

I take exception to that, I think your Holy Spirit line is faulty. I think a demon of judgment is messing with you.

I think we aught to take this demon talk out of our conversations before people start getting reported. What is really being talked about here is listening to our earthly or carnal minds as opposed to the Holy Spirit. Naturally the disagreeing parties both believe they are correct.

What is an "earthly or carnal" mind? God gave us minds. They are a gift for us to use.

It is well explained in the Bible. You really don't know what scripture says about following one's earthly mind as opposed to following the Spirit? You've been around here for a long time and are not a new Christian.

I would like to hear your explanation of these concepts. What do you think the Bible means by this?

I don't say anything that isn't biblically supported.

As you embrace perversion and God at the same time, I am more than sure that you consort with the demonic regularly, albeit unwittingly, which is very tragic.
I've shown you for what you really are, and since I've done that I have nothing more to say to you.

Wrong, I am not demonically possessed. I have been baptised, and the Holy Spirit dwells in me.

I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and He tells me you are dead wrong, and that He loves you and wants you to listen to Him when He speaks...not your own heart, and not the hearts of your compadres--HIM ONLY. He will only speak to you about this for a limited time.

I take exception to that, I think your Holy Spirit line is faulty. I think a demon of judgment is messing with you.

Take exception at your peril. I cannot save you. I can only tell you what He says.

I believe a demon is lying to you.

Brieuse sees clearly what bes going on. Floatingaxe you bes being played and confused by a clever mimick. It has encountered those specific types of spirits before, what specialise in imitating the VoG (voice of God) and using that technique usually less to implant false teaching and more to entrench errors and prejudices already present in one's flesh.

You really need to have clear discernment. The Holy Spirit does not incite hatred or spite, sarcasm or offense. The Holy Spirit fulfills 1 Corinthians 13 to the letter, in and through you. The voice what seems to bring light but has in that light no true warmth, that bes a masquerading one.

(Waiting for you to laugh at it and tell it off for being daimonizomai and therefore incapable of saying anything of value ... which would, of course, prove its point ....)

So I guess no one is listening to my advice about leaving the demonic out of this thread.

But with all due respect, you do this yourself whenever you encounter one of God's children what does not agree with you concerning all YOUR views, beliefs, and perceptions. It has seen you do that.

By the way, for the record, being demonised and being a child of God bes NOT mutually exclusive -- that bes MORE lies from that mimicking religious spirit ....

Well, I know that I have the Holy Spirit in me, as the bible tells me, I don't know you, so I doubt you are talking for God. Therefore, considering that most of which have have said in your last few posts are unbiblical, I feel confident in my analysis that your so-called communications with the Holy Spirit is actually with Satan's demons.

:D :D :D

Yet you place all your little eggs in one basket: your favourite translation. Not God's Word, not Jesus Christ, but a little translation that suits your point of view!

The confusion is within you.
Once again, you prove nothing regarding a passage of Scripture, and no, I don't put my "eggs all in one basket w/a translation". I have also shown the historical context of all other passages of Scripture used against gays and lesbians falsely. I put my faith and hope in my Lord...Jesus Christ, and I know that I have a strong relationship with Him, and there isn't anything anyone can say here to change that.

You have no proof that 1 Cor. 6:9 is correctly translated. I have proof it isn't, as stated, using that word in the Bible is a breaking of Biblical Exegesis. How are you going to prove me wrong?

You do not believe God would put someone through a trial like this? I don't see it as being out of the ordinary for some of His commands. He's put some of His most beloved to even greater trials, Christ being the lead example. We are eternally thinking here. The reason why it doesn't matter whether the world likes us or not, is because we are working towards eternal and not towards the things of this dying world.

Ever consider that a person's own sexuality could be their idol?

Well, its a fair assumption that Luke scribed much of Paul's writings, and Luke also wrote a gospel. Luke never met Jesus, yet you believe what His gospel says about Jesus don't you?
God's standard is different than ours, obviously. And His rules are not based in secular humanist morals, so you can't expect perfect understanding of a God that we cannot even begin to fathom.

Jet, my brotha, you said it too well! :amen:

We strive and hope for that which is eternal, not temporal. Again, this is a spiritual battle we're all in and it seems to me that the problem is that there's too much of self and not enough of Christ in us.

That's one of the things I love about spiritual blesssings. They help you to see things for what they really are rather than what we'd like or think them to be.
