What 'Miracles' will we see in the Last Days?

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I was wondering what 'miracles' and signs and wonders we would see that would be so convincing that even those Christians on the path to eternal life would be fooled if not outright believe in the 'false christ' who could do things of such a surprising nature and power.

Satan Will Present Miracles.--Many who refuse the message which the Lord sends them are seeking to find pegs on which to hang doubts, to find some excuse for rejecting the light of heaven. In the face of clear evidence they say, as did the Jews, "Show us a miracle, and we will believe. If these messengers have the truth, why do they not heal the sick?" . . .

Could their eyes be opened, they would see evil angels exulting around them and triumphing in their power to deceive them. The day is just before us when Satan will answer the demand of these doubters and present numerous miracles to confirm the faith of all those who are seeking this kind of evidence. How terrible will be the situation of those who close their eyes to the light of truth and ask for miracles to establish them in deception! Letter 4, 1889

Miraculous Healing and Fanaticism- Our sanitariums are to reach a class that can be reached by no other means. "Why," asks one and another, "is not prayer offered for the miraculous healing of the sick, instead of so many sanitariums being established?" Should this be done, great fanaticism would arise in our ranks. I did think there was a verse saying greater things would be done in the end times but i cant find it at the moment.

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

God would work greatly through everyone but many have lost the truth of tongues. Indeed we cannot say Jesus is lord but by the Holy Spirit, you can not seek God but by his grace. Speaking in tongues is the gateway to the gifts and fruits of the spirit. Look at the above verse, it doesnt even make sense with many in the church today, you dont see miracles happening but we are told we will do even greater things.

1 Corinthians 14:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

The devil has many ways to deceive and speaking with sounds that have no meaning and for no ones edification is one of his latest ways, if you cannot give truth with the gift of tongues that other believers can understand and be edified, then better to keep it to yourself as it does no good.

Paul just thanked God for speaking "tens of thousands" of "not intelligible" words.

When paul says prophecy he means spiritual revelations, look:
1 Corinthians 14:24-25 But if an unbeliever or someone who does not understand comes in while everybody is prophesying, he will be convinced by all that he is a sinner and will be judged by all, and the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, "God is really among you!"
If prophecy was just teachings, why would the secrets of his heart be laid bare. But no, on average you cant prophesy unless you first get in your closet for some quality time with God.

Pete, i started it, im as guilty of forcing my thoughts as he is. But just as we tell people about jesus so that they may come to him. Im trying to tell people that God wants to do miracles through them and speak to them, and why he hasnt, so they will know to what God has called them, and go to God and spend time with him, and find him through Jesus Christ.
