  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does this person have a background in science to know an error when she sees one?
I don't know, but she CLAIMS that all the evolutionary science is flawed... if so, it should not be difficult for her to present a specific error

That actually shows that she doesn't have an education in science. I would bet the best that could be offered is some parroting of another creationist that doesn't really understand science either. That's what I've noticed here anyway.

Indeed... which is why I ask her to produce examples of flawed science in evolutionary theory.

Either, she will provide proof for her beliefs, OR, she will have an opportunity to improve her knowledge and overcome errors in her own knowledge.

Win-win situation... if one is prepared to accept the possibility that one is mistaken

It's like you have all gone to the same university and read the same manua
It's called evidence. With the advent of the internet, we all have the same capabilities to research, and so we come to the same conclusions.

You all seem to have the same attitudes
It's called science. Impartiality and civil conversation follow from a logical mindset.

and speak the same language.
It's called English .

You probably all dress alike, too.

I just think you scientists have really gotten into cloning and you have just cloned millions of yourselves. :p

Well, yes. The first try however was done on a creationist claiming that "Evolution is just a theory and not proven/a proven fact/science."

Quite, isn't it amazing how facts are universal.

your right we do all speak the same language. It is a language of truth or the pursuit of at least. Science has a methodology and in science class thats what we learn. Their are methods to discover is something is true or untrue. do this it must be falsifiable, in other words through given evidence has the ability to be proven false or true. some things cannot be discovered to be true or false, and are considered to be unfalsifiable. your Creationism falls under that category, but so does alot of erroneous things, like magic and space men.

Are you fit to judge what you haven't bothered to learn? look, dont take this the wrong way, but ether dimwitted or dishonest, nether sound very thrilling. So what is it? Why do you spawn pratts when you have shown that they have been refuted? Look I understand what its like to have ones reality crushed before them. its sad, its hard to face. You just have ask yourself whats more important? Happiness or Truth? Are you willing to live a lie and stay happy believing in child hood stories or face the truth with the possibility you wont like what you see.

Sorry it's not the science I was referring to.

What science were you referring to, then?
I'm gonna take an off-the-cuff go a this one. I don't think she's referring to science or even creationism. I think the issue is that most scientists draw the same conclusions from the scientific envidence presented.

That's not what we see with creationism. That's not what creationists do, which, unbeknownst to them, is one of their major problems lol. They drag their own agenda, unable to agree on significant issues, and spin out like mapleseeds in the wind.

Well let me spell this out for all you guys.

When I said you were sooooooooooo predictable, I was not referring to when you give the facts on science. I was referring to your attitudes toward people who disagree with you. Your offenses and defenses seem like they all came out of the same manual.

When I said it's not the science I was talking about. I should have highlighted or italicized the word science of more emphasis.

No, but I'm gonna send you some blessings anyway so you can get your character set up.
