We have the best of both worlds—a cat that acts like a dog (except for the drooling part). In fact, I think she thinks she's a dog.

My other cat acts like a dog. She was a stray I picked up a few months ago. She plays with the dogs like she's a dog. It's cute and she hardly ever meows. She doesn't drool. No drool!

My cat's coloring is very much like your cat's. But her hair is shorter. I need to get some pics of my kittie.

I have to admit though... My cat actually does drool*. When she lays on my leg or my chest (like yours is doing in that last pic) she leaves a big wet spot on my clothes. When she's doing her kneading thing on my neck, I usually blow in her face when I see a big drop of saliva about to fall...it makes her lick her lips.


*This is not meant to be debate. The OP said that dogs drool, but it didn't say that cats don't drool. So I'm not debating - I am totally a cat person - cats rule. But sometimes they drool too.

My five cats (Tigger, Wolf, Taylor, Simba, & Coco would agree. And, even though they love me very much, if I was suddenly reduced to six inches tall, they would eat me.

I came home one night to find Kei and Yuri (Yuri is in all of the posted pics and Kei is the lighter colored kitten with her in the third pic) on either end of a tire on one of my neighbors' cars. One was in front and one was in back. When I got out of my car I went over to see what they were doing. They were playing mouse pong! The mouse would get under the crack of the tire on one end. When the cat there would chivvy it out it would run around to the other end and hide, where the cat there would "send" it back to her sister. Having compassion on the poor thing, I grabbed one cat, took her upstairs to the condo, came and got the other and told that mouse that it had an hour to make itself scarce!

Those two were such good animal control officers that it is a wonder there were any rodents left in the area....

Yuri is what is called a tortoise shell, or 'tortie.' I am told that it is the least common of patterns in cats. They are known for their attitude.

My kitty looks a lot like that, and she drools, too! Every time she starts purring she drools.

Cats are a much better facsimile of people then dogs

(especially “lost” people)

I’ve learned a lot about pasturing people by refereeing my five cats.

If you discipline a dog he will lie at your feet, wonder what he did wrong, and try to win your approval.

A cat on the other hand will pee on your shoes.

Awww,

They are so cute! I love cats....and I would have to agree with you guys. But I also love my little Maltese, Moppett! I saw her cute little face and fell head over heels in love with her! My cat, Peanut could care less about anything or anyone! But I love them both!


Ps. I would post pics but I have no clue how to do so...I'm new to these boards....haven't figured everything out yet...and by the size of it, I'm going to be awhile getting that job done!...lol

I totally agree... Cats rule. And since we're talking about furry friends, my sisters cat Buddy, died yesterday. They had a apartment fire, and the smoke was so thick, my sister couldn't get in to save him. SO, kitty prayers please.
