CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seriously dating in a long distance relationship...been talking for a year and one month.

I put seriously dating, but I'm almost engaged. I wouldnt be surprised if we get engaged when he returns in September from his summer break. We have been talking about getting married a lot lately (we know for sure we will), so I wanna explain to him the best time for that would be next summer, so I would need to start planning soon. If he agrees, we will be engaged in September.

My guy asked me again to marry him a whole bunch of times. I said "Yes" again. We will have to get it rolling pretty quick as this is a LD, LTR, and we won't just be dating during all these years at our age and time.

My ex who broke my heart last year (posts all over the place about our on-again-off-again relationship), came back asking forgiveness and my hand in marriage. I said, "Whoops, too late!!" Oh, well, I know now it was not me who was at fault this time.
