CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My weekend was ok. Got some fishing done for first time in a year and a half and bought paint for my icon prayer room.Good morning all. How was everyone's weekend? Mine was busy as usual. Got to check with you later.

And what are you doing up so early? I got a stuffy nose and have a hard time sleeping....Spring always gets me with my allergies. I suffer from this and I have no humidifier. I guess time for my allergy medicine...
How is your prayer room coming along? Is it also going to be your iconography studio? or you got another room for that? I used to combine the two, for the lack of space.

Good morning! Yesterday I found out they won't be able to get the carpet and tile finished in the basement until Thursday of next week. That means the basement won't be finished by the time my family gets to Colorado on Friday. (we will still need to install sink, toilet, trim, and doors).
That was the main reason for getting it done on time so my crippled mom could not have to do stairs (we have a walk out basement). I guess I'll have to call her today and tell her they'll have to get a hotel.
I'm going to try real hard not to stress over this!!!

Thank you!Do not stress over this one... No biggy really it is just that it always takes longer to do any kind of constuction work anywhere in the world.... they do not keep deadlines. Hope your mom has a pleasant visit.

My husband warned me at the very beginning of this project not to be surprised if there is a glitch and it doesn't get done on time. I'm o.k. with it, at least we are finally getting it done for our family! We have a whole lifetime to enjoy it!!!

I was also very productive today with laundry! I'm getting ready to dust now. Since we've been getting the basement finished, it's been almost impossible to keep this house from not getting dusty.

Hello TAWers! Just got bacl from the restaurant! WHAT A DAY! Evreyone was nervous because of the terrorist attack in Ankara.

You should do that. Laundry is every house wifes nightmare!!! I don't ever get totally caught up. We all have enough clothes that we rarely run out of anything, which is a good thing! I have to admit, sometimes if I notice my hub and son are running out of socks or underwear and I'm heading for the store anyway, I'll buy new packages just so I don't have to wash that night!!!

Yes we thought an attack was going to strike Istanbul there were police evreywhere. Were still worried about tomorrow. I just feel bad for the people in ankara. 60 people killed and wounded!
