  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What do you guys think should be the breakfast special for today? Fried eggs and toast or Loukamades (fried doughballs with honey)
French toast with sausage and karo dark corn syrup, after Liturgy, of course!

Good news! We're going back tomorrow for lunch! :p Only one piece of baklava then... the size of the ones they had makes 2 wayyyyyy too much.
Now if I could only make our guests go home so we could go to bed so we won't be total zombies when we get up tomorrow.... YAAAAWWWN!

Goodbye for now guys! I gotta get ready see you later!
Yew pew......sausage in frencch toast you guys are sick!
No one will like such a combination. Just make the toast look like loukoumades... with lots of syrup. My folks who live in Athens they hated french toast... and you know why? The eggs over there are too strong and create an unpleasant aftertaste. ....yak. In the states the eggs are "less real" and less strong and french toast tastes better. Just a piece of advice. I have tried other dishes from America in Greece and the taste came out completely different ... that has been my experience

You never bore us Kolya. Glad you visited. Come to Orthopraxis if you can. I'll send you information.
Being no one in here is willing to tackle this subject, I will. Please stop openly trying to get people to leave TAW and go to Orthopraxis. If you don't like it here, that is fine, but you don't need to drag others with you. I for one will not go to OP for just that very reason. I find it to be in very, very, very bad taste to openly be posting things like this as I see quite a bit of it.

Do I lose all claims to having Greek Ancestry if I said Canolis :sorry:

See, and that's why being mixed is so cool. As someone of both Italian and Greek heritage, I can safely proclaim the triumph of the canoli without losing anything :D

Who brainwashed you into believing canoli's were superior to baklava? I am not even Greek (or anything close to being Greek) and even I who is of German descent know that baklava is the end all be all of all pastries!
