  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't think I can play it here. It seems you need the actual CD to play the game (unless I move back to Korea). Even if I had it, I don't think there are any WOW servers in Japan.
that's weird I'd think they'd do that version like all the other ones where you can install all the necessary stuff on the computer, so you don't need a CD... just an active account on one of blizzards servers...

No, I meant a CD to install and play the game.

In Korea, for example, they don't use the CD to install at all. You can just download everything if you want.

I used to play, ever since open beta, but a year or so ago I began to tire of it and dropped out. It really is an excellent game, and I'm in an outstanding guild, so perhaps I'll go back to it. Or perhaps not... LOTRO is coming soon, and it looks like one I'm going to really like.

The game is so so addicting though >.< I had to give my gf the password so she could set up Parental controls so Im not tempted to play during the week when I should be working/school.

In answer to the tax question. Yes all armor repairs and ammunition is tax deductible but do to serious farming by the Alliance the Blood elves stipulated that murlocs be put on the endangered species list as a contingent for thier alliance with the Horde (They wanted some to kill too and need the population to rebuild so they can go on massacare runs). Since you are still killing murlocs by your own admission please give all your gold to me and report to the nearest jail without passing go.

I play Horde. We're not evil and we're not dumb. We just think outside the box and are thus misunderstood. It is the only way to go. >.>

64 troll shaman--resto (no, I am not there for dps)
48 undead priest--shadow
20 blood elf mage--frost
20 blood elf warlock-demo

And some other characters I don't mess with that much.

I've only been playing for about a week. My character is Feorine, a level 8 Night Elf Druid, on Dalvengyr. I got into playing because my step son, his fiance, and all their friends play. It was the only way to make any sense of most conversations around the house. :)

:D I know what you mean. When a group of us get together and start talking, it's almost like a foreign language with all the nonsensical acronyms. Though, I'm not as fluent in WoW since I don't play anymore but I know it was sure funny when I was heavy on EQ to see the strange looks we got from people.

Man, we went to OT last night and this crazy SK trained 3 goons to the ledge and we got wiped.

I started playing when it first came out, after playing al of Blizzard's games prior to WoW I thought this would defiantly be the MMORPG to give a try. I had never played one before but I had always been a big Blizzard fan. Well I sunk my teeth into it along with a couple of friends from back in my old MUD days.

Anyway I really enjoyed it, but it became way to addictive, I was in the top guild on our server and we would chew up new content as fast a Blizzard could spit it out. I finally did walk a way from it right after we took down C'Thun. I kept my account active but I gave up raiding completely and only logged in maybe 2 hours a week just to chat with friends.

Well BC came out so naturally I had to buy it. I leveled up my Hunter to 70 and still play off and on but I'm not getting back into the raiding scene, it just consumes to much time.

Chars
Hunter - 70
Priest - 65 Shadow
Priest - 60 Holy/Disc
Paladin - 60
Rouge - 60
Druid - 44

My main started out to be a priest and I couldn't decide between holy or shadow so I leveled one of each. I've switched my main to my hunter after BC just because I do a lot more soloing now instead of raiding.

I used to play, but I got too busy with schoolwork. I still played, but it wasn't enough to justify the cost. I may reactivate my account during the summer, though, because I did enjoy the game.
