You think there words are harsh and cruel
That none can judge your state
Yet still you break most every rule
Thinking to flee your fate

I speak to you because of love
Because of what I see
I know your way leads not above

Unless The Saviour’s takes your hand
Unless you now confess
Unless your heart can understand
God’s servants here to bless

I’m here because I see your pain
I know the way you feel
I know you’ve fallen back again
Because the devil’s real

But so are God and Christ His Son
The power that once was yours
The same through which life’s wars are won
The same that opens doors

Right now; the door to Satan’s jail
To chains that have you bound
Rise up my friend you needn’t fail
Rise up to solid ground

Spew out the poison Satan poured
Cast off those rags of death
Take up the cup of Christ your Lord
Receive again life’s breath

Be wise dear friend your day is now
Rise up and join the flow
Take up again Salvation’s Plough
God’s Seed we need to sow
