Okay, after lots and lots of thinking... I finally decided to once again try to start a blog. It happend to me a million times! I started writing one and in three posts, I'm gone!
I'm starting college this automne so I might as well write it all down to remember some of it later. I love reading things I wrote many years ago so if I want to read in a few years, I have to start somewhere... right?
Anyways, I'm going to introduce myself briefly... My name's Elena. I'm a 17 year old girl who wanted to be a tornado chaser. After seeing that there are so few tornado chasing jobs existing and that it was mostly done by people as hobbies, I tried to find a job that had was associated with weather.
So, meteorologist was the closest choice(other than climatologist). Plus, in science last year, I had really good notes! So I figured.. why not?
Well... I ended up having physics and chemistry this year and well... let's just say that all 14 of us... definatly got slammed in the face. It was a trainreck...
So yeah, when we had to send our applications to colleges, I sent mine to the Social Studies department, in Administration. It was because my other dream job was manager. So, finally, things turned out for the better(I didn't like meteorology for something other than the storms.. hehe...).
Plus, today, I talked with my friend Paula about a wish of hers. You see, she'd really like to open a kind of Japanese store/cafe. You know, where you can buy mangas and anime things all the while being able to buy things to drink and eat like at a cafe. In Montreal, there isn't really a store like that and the demand for anime things is growing. So, me who is inspired by the American Dream(and knowing that if God would want it to succeed, which I'd have to check with first, it would) know that it was a good idea.
Plus, me being a manager later, I could definatly help her!
But heh... one can always dream, right?
Mom's still on her trip to Greece, Athens. I miss her... 5 days left before she comes back!!!
That's all I can think of for now. Let's hope I can continue until I'm done with college.
