While running wild as yesterday
Wisdom has long discerned
Like foolish sheep we’ll always stray
Until the facts are learned
Till Heaven’s Truth the world has seen
And takes it for her own
She’ll fail to live as would a queen
And share life’s royal throne
Until she’s free of spot and stain
Until she seeks on high
Her children live their lives in vain
Still steeped in sin they die
So each now saved has much to do?
Great works may yet be done?
By grace of God each day anew
Arise and serve The Son
We each should take a look inside
Truly of self to learn
Reveal to God the things we’d hide
And offer these to burn
We must be rid of all past shame
Rid of satanic lies
Receive from God a brand new name
Breaking demonic ties
We need to show there’s been a change
Our knee should humbly bow
Even if friends would think us strange
If they could see us now
When all these things have seen the dawn
When Christ returns from high
More souls by grace will be reborn
