With Heart Of A Lion

God gives the heart of a lion
Placidness of a dove
To fight like children of Zion
Armed with weapons of love

With goodness and mercy with me
Truth’s shield and buckler fast
With faith in Calvary’s blood soaked tree
I’ll serve Christ First & Last

Christ bled to be our Saviour
Suffering outrageous pain
To end man’s foul behaviour
And cleanse sin’s every stain

By living the life He died for
Trying as best I can
With heart and soul quite sure
I’ll follow Heaven’s plan

Reading God’s Word, heeding His call
Responding loud and clear
Perhaps I’ll fail, but no way fall
With Jesus always near

I know Heaven has heard my voice
My prayer was not in vain
Since Christ became my life long choice
This child was born again

Sin’s heavy burden’s now long gone
Jesus, is Lord and King
Countless battles I’ve fought and won
Beneath salvation’s Wing

My sinful passed is forgiven
Knowing life’s Truth first hand
My life’s now purpose driven
Toward The Promised Land…..
