Will He find us “sleeping” at the most critical time….at the revealing of the Word of Truth? Love not “sleep” or we will perish in our sins! Let us open up the “eyes” of our understanding and be satisfied with the bread of heaven.
Proverbs 20:13 KJV
(13) Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
Will He find faith in us? Will we entertain “strangers” who are sent by Him to speak His words of life and spirit? Will we really respond in evil and behave badly at what we hear with our ears? Will He find us “drunk” in our unbelief, wrath, covetousness, and religious pride?
Let us remember His covenant to have love for those who we may not agree with….lest He find us “overcharged” with envying, strife, wrath….or being bogged down with the cares of this life.
Some will love to continue in their “sleep”.
Luke 21:33-38 KJV
(33) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
(34) And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
(35) For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
(36) Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(37) And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
All shall hear His voice in the “morning” of the dawning of the Light of the knowledge of God in our hearts.
(38) And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
The “dead” in sins and trespasses shall hear the voice of the Son of God. Those that will hear shall LIVE…as they will put off the deeds of the “old man”…..the envying, strife and hatred of one another. They will hear His words in the “graves” of religious-sounding man’s denominations and they shall COME FORTH from their “grave” and DO GOOD towards what they will hear and receive LIFE in the here and now.
John 5:25-30 KJV
(25) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
(26) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
(27) And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
(28) Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Some shall come forth and do good towards what they will hear and yet others will do evil towards the hearing of the Truth because they will not believe it.
(29) And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
As He hears, He judges. We are to take heed to ourselves and stay “awake” while we hear His voice.
(30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
It is high time to awake out of “sleep” for NOW IS OUR SALVATION nearer than when we believed. NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION! We have been led to believe by men who have wrested the Scriptures into believing that our salvation comes AFTER WE DIE! We have been deceived by the kingdom of darkness…for NOW is the day of salvation….in the here and now. So let us cast off the works of darkness…..the strife and the envying…and put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

(11) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
(12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
(13) Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
(14) But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
We have been deceived by the words of deceitful men. We are not to “die” first and receive salvation from “hell”. No, TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION. NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME. Let us not receive the grace of God in vain and perish from off this earth because of the envying, strife and deceit of religious-sounding men…..for MANY have entered that way and have been destroyed from off this earth.
2 Corinthians 6:1-2 KJV
(1) We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
(2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
We have to do His commandments. We have to have love for one another. There are no exceptions. It is like the law of gravity. If we do not do what He says, we perish….our flesh reaps decay and we die.
Galatians 6:7-9 KJV
(7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

(25) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
