I, ever since I was a little boy, have been taught to trust in God. I have always believed I had trust in him because for most of my life things were great and everything seemed to be where it was suppose to be. But the truth of the matter is trusting God doesnt happen easy. Sure when you are on top of the mountain it is easy to say "My God I love you, and I put my trust in you." But what happeneds when you are down in the vally? do you hear things like "My God why have you forsaken me? I have no trust." God did not promise us a life a leziure, quite on the contrary he said in this life you will have trials and tribulations, But take heart for I have overcame the world! What is God saying here? He is saying things are going to suck, life is not going to be easy, but have faith and trust me because I have overcame it, and I live in you so you may be able to overcome also.
I have repeatedly said things like God I am trying to trust but I dont feel it. THAT FEELING IS FROM SATAN DONT BELIEVE IT! God has mighty plans for you and sometimes he allows you to be tempted and tried. And you might fail. I am working on something that is really hard to give up, and I fail when I am given a trial. But it doesnt mean that God is up there saying "your stupid! Your an Idiot! You are not giving it to me!" Instead he is saying "son, this life is going to have trouble and trials, I give you an escape and you may not always take it, but I will continue to give you that escape." God doesnt give up. Thats why we need to trust is because or father in heaven knows that we are going to fail, but its what we do after that, do we repent and trust God to help us overcome the sitation in life? Or do we just sit there and feel like a failure.
I have come to learn when you ask God to take something out of your life that is not gratifying to God, he doesnt take it out of your life, nor if you ask him to put something in it, he wont. But what God will do is give you a trail and a way to beat it with his help. He may not take it out of you but he will give you an escape to do it.
Trusting God is hard when you go through things, but in prayer anything is possible. Your heart may not feel like you are trusting or your mind may be filling you with lies like God isnt listening because you cant feel it. The truth of the matter is you are his son or daughter and you are crying out to him. When you Cry out to God, you are really putting your trust in him saying " I cant do this on my own father, but with you all things are possible."
Now when it comes to relationships, it has to be Gods will and sometimes there is nothing you really can do about it but pray. He will work on the other person opening up there heart and looking inside. Sometimes I look at God as a garbage man. He is always there and he is always willing to take the trash out of your life and clean a mess that you have made or someone else has. He is also a carpenter. He can fix anything that is broken. He is a teacher, we can learn from him everyday of our lives. He is a best friend, we can tell him anything and he wont judge us for it, but will give the best advice possible. And the best one of all... He is our father! He watches out for us all our lives and wants the best for his children.
God gives us tests to see if we really are committed to him and eachother. He is amazing and we should have trust in him.
Trust comes with trial, so if you are going through something that is hard to understand or believe, give it to Jesus because when you do, you are putting your trust into the creator of the Universe.
