When I heard that Repdaddy was leaving CF forums that did it for me.
There are other devout Christians who have already left, or are thinking of leaving.
Do not get me wrong, there are many Good commited Christians who believe in the Word of God, who are supporting this forum. Fellowshiping and supporting those who need a helping hand and continue to work tirelessly to help others.
Unfortunely there are those and they know who they are who have their own agenda and try to subvert what this Forum was originally set up for.
I believe that the forum has been infultrated by people who want to turn this forum into something else.
There are people in Management positions who frankly belong to a secular rather than a Christian forum.
It is so sad that there are those in responsibility, post on threads to derail those threads and close down debate.
There are those who look up to those in responsibility and these people should be leading by example to the newbies that join.
One day sites like this are going to advertise with the words `Christians wanted`you are valued here.where are you?
Whether the recruitment drive is driven by the dollar bill ,quantity over quality is the question.
I have no objection to debate but this debate should be confined to non christian parts of the forum.
Christian forums should be moderated and managed by people with strong Christian belief and values.
Those who do not believe in these ideals should be treated like any other member if they are attempting to derail threads.
I am convinced that we should all look at the loss of so many good people with concern.
Where are they going?they sure look as though they have lost the belief that this forum bestows the interests of true Christian values.
My appeal to the powers that be here is to get a grip and support all those who believe in the Word of God and who follow His laws.
I believe many people are leaving because they are not being supported and feel that Christians are not being treated equally on these forums.yes! even though this is supposed to be a Christian forum
I believe that there are some forums, particulaly in the theology section, that creates divisivness and does not suit Gods purpose.
Part of the problem, is that now we have seen changes, one does not know who one is debating with.Where has the faith icon gone?
Do the powers that be know what direction they want the forum to go going forward?
I do hope that those who are contemplating leaving will change their minds and stay and those who have left would return but if they do not wish to I wish them well and may God bless them.
It may seem that I am venting but I believe the ship needs to have a new rudder to steer it on the right path before it hits and is dashed on the rocks.
