God wants the world, the truth to see
The facts of life, to tell
To set the sinful captive free
And save man’s soul, from hell
That true salvation may be won
Ere time on earth began
God the Father chose Christ His Son
To live and walk as man
Though God Himself, Christ Jesus came
To save from shame and death
To lead from sin, vanquish shame
To grant eternal Breath
As a lamb, nailed upon a tree
Chief of salvation’s plan
The Lord God died for you and me
In a body of man
But Jesus rose, from death and grave
As Lord, as God and King
Eager to heal, willing to save
In Heaven, souls to bring
But who will join The Lord on high?
Who’ll see The Father’s face?
Accept why Jesus choose to die?
Receive such awesome grace
Two thousand years, have come and passed
Man’s shame has multiplied
Rejecting, the living First & Last
Countless, corrupt have died
Still Jesus calls, with arms held wide
With all at His command
That you and I should come inside
To dwell God’s Promised Land…..
