Who plays the fool on Zion Hill?
Who hears and fails to learn?
Who’ll come to God their cup to fill?
For nothing in return
God wants our love for Him and Christ
Forgiveness to forgive
Our very self be sacrificed
In order that we live
God wants His children in despair
Living in filth and shame
To recognise He too is there
When calling on His name
God wants His children plagued with fear
To hide beneath His wing
Fill heart and soul with love and cheer
They want to dance and sing
God wants us laugh and wants us cry
At peace when fast asleep
He wants us think of when we die
Of promises He’ll keep
He wants obedience win in life
Sweet blessings yet unknown
But death with pain and endless strife
For fools with hearts of stone
He’d have us walk with loving care
Take time to watch and pray
His wondrous blessings now to share
With others on The Way
Believe in Him and Christ His Son
His promises are sure
