Who Picked Up The Tab

John 3:16; for GOD so loved the world..**STOP**..how awesome is that? How was it possible for GOD to love the world? Maybe he just loved earth as his creation and not those in it? Maybe only those whom worship him?

All of these could be plausible theories especially considering what the bible says in John 3:10 "This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother". Not knowing GOD completely one might interpret this completely out of context.

Why didn't the bible say that GOD so loved his children in the world? Well the answer is quite simple folks....GOD loves each and everyone of us. Not the type of love you show your brother or sister on their birthday, not the type of love you share when proposing to your wife. It's an indescribable not necessarily emotional love. It's a love that knows no boundaries and can withstand the test of time. When I hear people describe situations where they were in the presence of GOD's love all but few claim it to be like having their entire being dipped in warm oil soaking in every crevice of their body and spirit.....*PAUSE*...*GOOSEBUMPS**..

Listen up this type of love is the motivation that led to the other half of John 3:16 "that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".

Now think of this, GOD so loved the world (everything in it's entirety) that he sent his only Son (Jesus Christ) as a sacrifice for them. Now for you that have children think of how hard that would be to give up your child.......I know some of you wouldn't mind given them up a few hours a day especially when their full of sugar and you just got off of work. I want you to really consider having them sacrificed though........ It's really unthinkable it's actually frightening in my opinion. GOD did this for the world though, why so that whomever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

I know many people have heard that and it sounds great but have you ever considered the fact that GOD did this and Jesus submitted to GOD's will knowing that not all would receive him? How powerful is that. The price of even one soul spared from the evil hands of the devil was worth the risk of GOD sending his only Son to die.

Have you ever paid the check for another persons meal when at a restaurant?:o How about paid for somebody's toll or drive-thru when going through the line (Pay it forward)? Have you even considered paying for somebody's groceries when in the express check out? You might say well I don't know those people and money is tight:doh:. Imagine if GOD thought that way?

Romans 6:23 says for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"The CO$T of SIN is DEATH but GOD PAID THE CHECK AND HE PAID IT FORWARD!" Please let me know how you feel about this.
