If I say, "my God", how do you know who I am talking about? "I trust in God or I trust in the Lord to take care of all my needs." Who?
Do Faiths other than your own call on God? Do they have a savior that they call Lord?
We all know that Faiths of all types from around the world call on a God or should I say, their God. Their God, this is not a name it is a title. This says to me that we should know the name of our God and we should call on him by this name.
Using basic common sense tells us that we should use the correct name when speaking to anyone. If everyone called their children, kid, look how confusing this would be.....all called by the same title.
Without quoting scriptures I want to tell this like it is. My God is Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, and my savior is Yahushua. With a bit of research you would find that, in Bible translation the names Yahweh and Yahushua were taken out and God and Lord put in.
Call your God by his name is my statement and remember - this 'name calling' is for you and not him. Yahweh knows his people but do you know him?
