Philosophy... eh.
It seems life's greatest, most burning question, for every generation is "who am I?"
Who am I?
well if you believe in God you are the children of God, A child's innocience of believe with a warrior's heart and armor to protect it. And within that identity we are all called to different areas of ministry, our talents are vast and their uses greater still in the hands of our Lord.
Believe it, we all have a call. We all, each and every single individual, have a call. A ministry. And that call, that ministry, should be our greatest duty, the most important, number one item on our to-do list every day. Not just on Sunday. Not just when opportunity falls in our laps.
It should be first when we have to fight to get it done. When it makes us uncomfortable. (Moses was so uncomfortable with his calling his brother had to speak for him). Inspite of obsticals that task, that calling we should strive to acheive it.
And perhaps, even more imporant than that - we will fail. all of us. We will fall. We will struggle. We will have bad days, weeks, months, years. Our God did not promise us an easy life. But if we seek it, even in the hard times, we will find peace, comfort. For our God is love. and of that love infinite grace, mercy, compassion and hope.
And from those wonderful gifts of our Father we can and will find the strength to rise again, to pick ourselves back up. and try again. as many times as it takes. Because we have a promise - all things are possible through Jesus Christ. All Things.
Nothing we are called to do is impossible. what is your ministry? what is your call?
Have you done anything about it lately?
