I have just used one of Jesus' most famous lines in a post and i felt the need to blog about it
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone
So often in our lives we will stand by and watch other people, especially other christians, making mistakes and sinning and we, without even thinking about it, pass judgement on them.
I am guilty of this myself, especially in modern society where we see on the news every single day people who have commited crimes against others, often awful crimes....rape, child abuse, murder..........and let me just say i am not condoning this kind of behavoir in any way shape or form. But what i am saying is that these people who do these awful things, they too are Gods children and God loves them and most of all Gods heart is breaking at the sins they are commiting. And here we are watching these stories on the news saying things like "Aren't they awful human beings. They don't deserve anything other than to rot in jail." Would Jesus have cast aside even the worst criminals like that? I don't think He would have done. He died to save us ALL! Not one of us is without sin, and yes ok the majority of us aren't rapists, child abusers or murderers but in Gods eyes any sin is falling short of His Glory and hurts Him in just the same way!
I pray that every one of us here, me included might be less judgemental on the sins of other and concentrate on bettering ourselves before our mighty God who WILL one day judge us ALL! I also pray for those people who commit these terrible sins we see every day, and pray that they will see the error of thier ways and see the Glory of God and ask for His forgiveness, because God has prepared a place for every single one of us and no matter what we have done here as long as we repent and believe that Jesus is the savior of our hearts and souls we will take that place by Gods side.
God bless you all this weekend and i hope that this has given you pause for thought
