Where are you going to spend eternity?
This is a great concern of most people in the church. As for those who are living in the fast lane of this world it an insignificant question for them. They are in their comfort zone and don't want to be bothered. As for me, I am very concerned for myself and I want to be ready to meet my Lord Jesus Christ when he comes. All of us who are looking for His return are watching and waiting for Him.
One night, I was reading and studying my Bible at the kitchen table and I asked the Lord when are you coming? This was about the time when that man was predicting His coming on a certain day. Lord Lord spoke to me and said: When my work is finished! I asked Him: What what work is that? He said: The Work of the Great Commission that I gave to the Apostles. When this is complete I will come.
Matthew 28:19-20
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In no uncertain terms the Lord was telling me that the whole world has to be given the opportunity to hear the Gospel and given the opportunity to give their lives to Jesus Christ. I said: Lord that means to me that if this was done in times past, You would have come back sooner. He Said: Now you got the picture. I said: Lord forgive us for dragging our feet to get this done.
It is so important that we Christians who have thought in our minds that we can't go into the mission field find another way of supporting others to missions work. Those who are keeping the pews warm and doing nothing will held accountable. The church has gone cold and indifferent as to proclaim the Gospel Message and Soul Winning.
The Salvation Message must be preached to all the world. Even to our Jewish brothers and sisters in Israel. Israel need to accept Jesus as their Messiah. Those who do so will miss the Great Persecution and suffering of the Great Tribulation Period. Let us keep them in our Prayers and present them with God's Plan of Salvation. Too many churches are Praying for them without giving them the Salvation Message. This is a injustice to them. Israel don't need to suffer Persecution. The Lord will seal all (both Jews and Gentiles) who give their hearts and lives to Him. God will fulfill His Promise to His Chosen People in the Kingdom Reign. Israel will be restored to her rightful place in the will of God and there will be no more a rebellious people (his chosen people)for God to contend with. God Bless them. I Pray that everyone will Pray for the nation of Israel's Salvation.
We as Human Beings have always invested in our Retirement Plans for our future on this earth. We had better be concerned about our plan for Life Everlasting with Jesus Christ. We need to invest our life saving into where we will spend Eternity. We can't take our wealth with us in Eternity. It is absurd to have the attitude I'll leave my wealth to my children to squabble over. Wealth has become an idol to a lot of people. Money and Wealth has broken up a many families because someone is always feeling they were mistreated.
I feel that if a person wants to leave a Legacy, the best Legacy they could do is leave their wealth to the work of the Lord. I know that God will not squabble over this. He will be glad to accept it. God Bless those who who leave a portion to the Lord.
I thank the Lord for what He reveals to me as I study His Word. There is so much you can see and learn when it comes to Old Testament Prophecy as it relates with John's Revelation. The events of these times are being fulfilled faster than most people realize. People are Procrastinators at heart and some of them who think they are ready to meet the Lord will miss the Rapture because of the lack of preparation. They will be like the 10 virgins (Matthew 25:1-3) 5 was wisely Prepared and 5 was unwisely unprepared. I want to be with those 5 Prepared.
Only you can answer the question: Am I prepared to meet my Lord in the Rapture??
There will be a lot who will give their hearts and lives to the Lord who miss the Rapture. A Great out pouring of the Holy Spirit at this time. God Bless them. I don't want to wait till then and have to go through the Great Tribulation Period. It will be a terrible time of Judgment. Some people think God is a God of Love and is not a God of Wrath. This Passive attitude of people is going to be a rude awaking. The devil has deceived many with this attitude. As long as they are in their comfort zones with this attitude the devil leaves them alone. But if one of his comes to the Lord, they better be prepared to be tormented by the devil. He is the accuser of the brethren. His time is getting short with us Christians who are waiting on the Lord's Return. God Bless you all who are watching and wait for the Lord.
