It's strange how time seemed to have stopped during the worst periods of our trials. While my husband and I were suffering in our intense crises, our concentration, being mostly on the latter, we kind of lost track of everything else, basically.
However, in the midst of our confusion and great pain, the Lord was still with us, making us grow, teaching us invaluable lessons, breaking what is not of Him in us, leading us... For us, time seemed to have stopped, but for God, it didn't!
It is now, at 41, that I am really discovering myself. The worst of the storm - for now - has calmed down. Now, I can think and see more clearly.
My heart has been softened, prejudices have been destroyed, my love is becoming more unconditional though there is still a long way to go with that, my vision of the Kingdom of God has been enlarged, narrow-mindedness has been destroyed.
The sufferings have been priceless and have reaped a load of good fruit in my life!
Where time seemed to have stopped, God was hard at work. Now time has started ticking again and life is starting to resurrect in me!
I have the desire to live, to laugh, to love, to share, to explode!
Praise the Lord
