The cross at times seems hard to bear
Along life’s narrow road
Until we ask The Lord in prayer
To help us bear our load
Troubles may not result from shame
Nor hindrance through sin
But if or not we’ve Heaven’s Flame
Burning brightly within
Through Heaven’s Gife we understand
How faith begins to grow
When Jesus lifts His mighty hand
And power’s seen to flow
Through love’s obedience knees will bend
Through love we seek God’s face
Through love, the precious time we spend
Will fill our hearts with grace
With grace, more love more faith and hope
More blessed songs to sing
Able to stand able to cope
Whatever life may bring
However cunning foes may fight
What evil Satan’s spun
Praying for Christ, life’s guiding Light
Will see the devil run
Consider Christ in all your ways
Consider Heaven’s force
Consider God throughout your days
Will guide your every course
It’s wise in faith one’s knee to bend
To seek God’s help above
Truly we learn and comprehend
