When All Else Fails

Does life just seem to pass you by?
It leaves a bitter taste?
You feel as though you want to die
That all is such a waste

Do you feel lost feel quite alone?
Depressed, you wonder why?
You waste your time, oft sit and moan?
Each night in bed you cry?

Perhaps it’s drugs, or excess drink?
You use to get you high?
Yet with the dawn, again you think
From all you’d like to die

The pounding, in your head won’t cease
From life, you’ve lost control
You’ve sought to find an inner peace
Yet ache within your soul

When all else fails, life falls apart
When no one wants to know
A quiet voice; inside your heart
Oft tells us where to go

“I love you child.” The voice may say
“I’ve come to take your cares

I am The Truth, The Life, The Way

The answer to your prayers

Before your birth, I knew your name
Each day, I’ve watched you grow
Upon the cross, I bore your shame
Because I love you so

I’ve come my child, to set you free
To take your doubts and fears
