Heaven’s Light flood heart and vein?
Does grace direct your path?
Does righteousness within you reign?
To save from Heaven’s wrath
Has God revealed His Son to you?
Is Jesus Lord and King
Did God pour forth His Morning Dew?
Causing your heart to sing
Looking, observing, self; today
What would you see inside?
Would truth; cause you to kneel and pray?
Or seek a place to hide?
Would Satan’s brood have sown their seed?
Would putrid stench arise?
Could lust your heart festooned with greed?
Have blinded wayward eyes?
Or would a smile your soul embrace?
Would gladness overflow?
Would tears of joy adorn your face?
Would faith take on a glow?
Some know our time is in God’s hand
Yet show so little fear
Building like fools on shifting sand
Whilst death stands ever near
Its time for us to stand God true
Its time our lives to mend
God’s living Word truly review
Heaven to comprehend
Beware dear friend of evil’s fate
Beware when blind fools die
Or when their teeth begin to grate
