Although you don't see them as much these days, WWJD t-shirts and buttons were pretty popular in the recent past. I wonder how many people wearing those shirts ever gave real thought to what He would or would not do. I doubt there were any, to be honest.
I know one thing He would NOT do: He wouldn't go around calling the poor "lazy". And He wouldn't be blaming them for their financial state.
The foremost reason I hear among Republicans for why they vote with the GOP is they strongly object to people receiving welfare from the tax money they're forced to give each year. Their logic is that they've worked all their lives and have taken nothing ( a false statement, by the way ) and why should they have to pay for someone else to sit home and not work, drawing money from the government's tax handouts.
What they're basically saying is they want life to be "fair". If fairness is what you are looking for, brother, you're in the wrong universe. This is God's universe and He decides what is fair, taking no consideration into account as to what you think is fair.
Let's say you have lived your entire life depriving yourself of the things that the unsaved have wallowed in all their lives. You arrive at the gates of heaven and are accepted in because you have accepted Jesus as Lord. As you stand there, you find that another fellow has arrived at the gates who deprived himself of nothing right up until the final hours of his life, at which time he finally accepted Jesus as Savior. He, too, is accepted into heaven. In your eyes, is this fair? No. But... guess what? God doesn't care even the tiniest bit about your idea of what's fair. YOU don't get a say in what's right in the eyes of God.
"God is no respecter of persons" carries over into other areas of life and this is one case in point. So, get over yourself.
Cain damned himself because of his heart toward God. Don't walk the same path as Cain did. Realize that the sacrifices you make are part of the relationship you have with God and have nothing to do with those who share the fruits of your sacrifices. How they get those fruits and what they do with them is between them and God, not between you and them. Your only concern should be the condition of your heart toward God.
NEVER forget "Judge not lest ye be judged". By condemning those who are receiving your fruits, you are damning your own self.
