A religious denomination is a subgroup within a religion that operates under a common name, tradition, and identity. -As defined by Wikipedia-
Throughout life, I have belong to several denominations at one point or time. Of-course, as a child I had no choice or preference; My parents decided on whatever they felt comfortable with or best for the family. As a result of it all I learned one thing for sure. That is, that all lead to one ultimate agenda...that there is one God and Holy Bible (again these were the beliefs of denominations rendered as a result of my past experiences).
Yes, I do consider myself a striving Christian and I love and try each day to experience the glow of his loving spirit. I attend a "holiness" church that belive in the Father, Son and Holy-Ghost. I do not attend each Sunday due to circumstances that allow me not to; However, I love cyber church, bible study and interacting with other Christians. I believe "church" should not only serve as Sunday services or Weekly B. Studies but should be in my heart daily.
I try my hardest to live a non-judgmental life. I never have been the unique one graced with "persuasion skills" and I know the Lord knows best. I never have been the one to "push" denominations or voice critical opinions on any of them. That's not my position or judgment call. I thank God for the wisdom to realize that. I find that P-r-a-y-e-r is a very powerful deliverance tool.
Also, I'd rather spend my time praying, chatting about good things or quoting only beautiful things to feed anyone's spirit. Many moons ago, my mom taught us if we couldn't "say something beneficial, nice or not sure what to say, to simply say nothing at all" I choose to live my life learning, drawing closer to God's will, seeking spiritual and personal enrichment as a quest instead.
