What does this have to do with the mayans, or the Chinese?

"There is corn in Egypt."—Genesis 42:2.
[Image]AMINE pinched all the nations, and it seemed inevitable that Jacob and his family should suffer great want; but the God of providence, who never forgets the objects of electing love, had stored a granary for His people by giving the Egyptians warning of the scarcity, and leading them to treasure up the grain of the years of plenty. Little did Jacob expect deliverance
... "

OK, so we are living in the "information age." In the 20th century, communication became much more efficient, the word of god can be spread quicky (radio, tv, and then the internet) so no excuses for those who choose to believe.

However, what about say, in ancient times. How, as a christian, you should choose to either follow the word or god, or not. There is no gray area, or god would have said it.

What about the chinese from the year 134AD (yes random year, pick your year, so long as its early)? As far as I know (I apologize for any ignorant comments, please, please correct me) or the Mayans? Are they all going to hell? There was little or no communication with these ancient culturers from the "christian world" and even if there was, what about before that? What about he native americans? What about the africans living in some remote, isolated tribe?

I do not want to hear:

"Only god can judge a man."

or...

"God knows a mans heart..."

or..

"They tried to conact god with what they knew..." (this means that, my point, christianity is not the ONLY way to god).

It clearly says in the bible, by Jesus, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO MAN cometh unto the father, except by ME."

Does this mean that these millions of people are all going to be tortured for eternity?

Again, please do not respond...

"Only god can judge a man's heart."

By that statement, it means that you can find god any way you want, without christianity, and still be saved. If this is the case, than a so called "emerging church" seems to be the better idea to save humanity.

And...if god does send all of these ancient people to hell

So...

Well...?

Are the ancient Chinese, Mayans, and African's all going to suffer eternal damnation?

If not, then christianity is not the only way to salvation.

If so, then god is cruel and sadistic and does not make sense (please do not say "we can't understand how god works.")

If I can find ONE chinese man who never heard of Jesus in the year 134AD (once again, a random early year) who lived a good life, yet goes to hell, I propose that your idea of god is wrong.

Furthermore, if on the other hand, god looked into his hearth, and saw that he was a good man, and allowed him into heaven, I propose that christianity is not the only way to heaven.
