What does God really mean..."As a man thinketh"?

Every true follower of Christ knows that every single word he said was said for a reason. But yet, i feel like many still either dont take certain words seriously, or just misinterpret it. Christ says "As a man thinketh, so is he." There is a reason God gave us a mind. We have thoughts, emotions, feelings, desires, will, and more magnificent things that come from our way of thinking. Everything that comes to our life, we have brought upon ourselves. For instances, one may have been born again for a couple of years and has developed his relationship with God on a greater level, but still lacks the manifestation of what God has promised him. An example would be health. Many christians are still suffering from health issues EVEN though the word of God cleary says we have abundant health when we walk in his path. Proverbs 3:5-8. Some of us suffer in our finances even though God himself says that we prosper(John 10:10).Many of us suffer from lack of joy, peace, satisfying relationships, contentment of life, and self esteem. The list goes on and on. The point i am trying to make is one, why do we still suffer these worldly things when Christ came and conquered it? Why do some people seem to get richer and happier, while the poor get poorer and unhappier? Some pastors will tell you it's because God wants you to go through something so you can later excel on a higher spiritual level. But the truth is, suffering doesnt come from God. God will always us our worst times in life and take us on a learning journey, but not because he wanted it to be that way, but because we brought it upon ourselves. Our thoughts have energy. everything we constantly think of manifests in our reality. Wether good or bad, we will and do attract things into our lives. If this were false, The lord would have never told us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2. It is a constant transformation that we must be conscious of. When things get bad rejoice, as our lord says, and think the way God build you to think. In doing so, we are able to turn a negative into a positive in a matter of seconds. When you know the cause and reason to a problem, the problem starts fading away because we know the solution to the problem. Our solution is within us and that is Christ. But we limit what God can do by resisting and holding on to our problems.
By thinking positive/like God, you are thinking the truth. Thinking positive isnt just some wishful thinking exercise. It is simple understanding who you really are. Which is Christ. The word of God says "as I' am, so are you." Paul constantly told us to renew our minds in a sense that really means remember who you are. Which is son and daughter of the Almighty. Born to reign above all things in this world.
