What are you shouting? A sermon in short

This is a shortened version of a sermon I've written that I'd like to share

I was praying one day and God spoke to me, he said, "What are you shouting?" At first I was a bit confused, but ok. I told God I didn't understand, but I meditated on it. God began to bring to my mind the story about Jesus being brought before Pilate. After my shower I looked up the passage and read it.

Jesus is brought before Pilate, and Pilate asks, "You're the king of the Jews?" To which Jesus responds, "I am." Pilate nods and brings Jesus before the crowd. Now it was the feast of passover and Pilate always released one prisoner at this time every year, so he brought to the people, also, Barabbas. Pilate asked the people, "Do you want Jesus, the Christ, King of the Jews? Or do you want Barabbas, a murderer and thief?"

The people all shouted back, "Give us Barabbas!"

So Pilate released Barabbas and had Jesus beaten. After the scourging he brought Jesus before the people again and said, "Should I release him to you?" And the people shouted,

"Crucify him!"

So let me ask you: What are you shouting? Are you shouting, "Give me Jesus!!" or are you shouting, "Let me have Barabbas!"
