How does the devil look to you?
Which is his shrewd disguise?
Charming parading plain in view
Flooding your mind with lies
He’ll have no horns, neither a tail
His face not coloured red
Perhaps quoting the Holy Grail
As lies to fill your head
Maybe as an angel of light
Denying he’s the Beast
Disputing Christ rising with might
As someone long deceased
He has no fire in his eyes
No fanged teeth, nor claws
With such, devils are far too wise
To enter through our doors
Not as a snake will he appear
But as a harmless dove
For you not to run in fear
Into Christ’s arms of love
He’s seeking souls to capture
Silent, without alarm!
Before the soon coming rapture
To do the utmost harm
Devils are cunning, wise as snakes
Full of endless strife
Whatever road or way he takes
He wants to take your life
Rebel, or child of God take care
Though fool, wise, young or old
While devils could be anywhere
Today! You’ve now been told…..
