Well...

...so, I'm sitting here in History. It's something about how Hitler treated the Jews, and his rise to power and whatever else.

I quite like History, actually--I've elected to do both Modern and Ancient History next year, along with Society and Culture. It's one of my better subjects.

But anyway, there was this guy sitting next to me. Someone I rarely talk to, so I was generally ignoring him.

Out of the blue, he just begins talking to me. He mentions some of his family problems, and that he's wondering about moving to Wagga with his biological father.

And he mentioned that he was having problems with one of his closer friends, as well, that they had just had a fairly major argument and that he was hoping it stayed like that.

He went on like this for several minutes, and I quietly listened. Of course I wouldn't stop him, why would I?

And then he asked, "Will you tutor me in Maths? I don't want to be with Lane anymore." Lane's the friend.

So I said yes, because I don't particularly like Lane either.

But then again, even if I approached it from a moral standpoint, what else could I do?
