First, let's consider the economy. The Stock Market has lost $3 trillion in value in 3 weeks. One could argue that part of this is because the market was overvalued. The economists I have read feel it is due to Trump's chaotic threats of tariffs.
There are examples of Trump's tariffs causing problems in the US. For example, Canada is not stocking US liquors which is hurting Kentucky Bourbon companies, and Tennessee whiskeys. Despite Musk's DOGE work, Tesla put out that tariffs could hurt US automakers. The CEO of Delta has warned that tariffs will weaken corporate and consumer travel. Other travel companies will be affected too, such as cruise lines.
AS a result of all this craziness, "a majority of Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump’s job handling the economy, marking a reversal from the 2024 campaign and the deepest negative margin during his time in the White House, according to a CNN poll."
Most do not approve of Trump's tariffs on Mexico and Canada. What is funny to me is how Trump complained in a post on Truth Social about the current agreements with Canada and Mexico, asking "who made these decisions..?"
Ahhh, YOU did, Donald! And this is what you wrote back then:
LOL!
Second, Musk and DOGE are having a negative effect on Americans. According to a Quinnipiac poll, 60% of Americans disapprove how they are handling federal workers. Speaking of federal workers, this week a judge ordered that thousands of federal workers be rehired, calling the mass firings a sham, and pointing out that the OMB had no authority to fire them. Then later in the day, Thursday, a second judge ordered the rehiring of federal workers to 18 agencies. From the last link:
"Both judges concluded that the Trump administration used false allegations of “performance” issues as a pretext to justify the large-scale firings and ignore legally mandated procedures for slimming the workforce."
Both of these orders add to the order last week to rehire over 5,000 USDA/Agriculture employees. There were some of those employees who previously supported Trump. Now?
Third, a Quinnipiac poll found that a majority of voters disapprove of Trump's handling the situation in the White House with Zelensky, and of his handling o the Ukraine war.
Fouth, Trump is attacking the law firms with individuals who were successful in cases against Trump, like the hush money case. It is retribution.
I am sure the law firms will bring this to a court.

"Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to suspend security clearances held by individuals at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP (Paul Weiss) pending a review of whether such clearances are consistent with the national interest," the White House said.
The order also directed federal agencies to take steps to cancel U.S. government contracts "for which Paul Weiss has been hired to perform any service."
The law firm has ties to high profile Democrats whom Trump has criticized over probes into him and his conduct. It had no immediate comment on Friday.
Some people associated with a probe by special counsel Robert Mueller into Trump's ties to Russia during his first term are linked to the firm. That probe found no collusion between Trump and Russia during the 2016 election campaign....
U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell on March 12 temporarily blocked most of an executive order Trump issued against a separate law firm, Perkins Coie, finding it likely violated the U.S. Constitution.
I am sure the law firms will bring this to a court.
