I am early for this weekly blog, but this one thing was reported, and seen in Trump's live Cabinet meeting. RFK Jr. made another idiotic comment, showing that he is influenced by conspiracy theories over medical science. His comment in the cabinet meeting was this: "“Somebody showed me a TikTok video of a pregnant woman at 8 months pregnant—she’s an associate professor at the Columbia Medical School—and she is saying [edited] and gobbling Tylenol with her baby in her placenta,” I would link to an article but there is a bad word in the quote.
"Baby in her placenta", huh? Pretty ignorant statement, that. The fetus grows in the uterus, and the placenta is attached to the uterine wall and connects to the baby via the umbilical cord. Like this:
The fetus grows in the Amniotic sac, and is connected to the placenta via the umbilical cord, that all is in the uterus. RFK Jr. has fathered 6 children, so he should have an idea about this.
But hey, he saw a video on Tik Toc and we know that everything there must be the truth right???
