Yet will we rid our worldly cares?
Be healed of sin led pains?
Or do we love the devil’s snares?
Seek comfort through his chains?
Are we displeased with evil things?
Too lost in Satan’s ways?
We dance, when ere he pulls our strings
Are we so blind these days?
Dig up, the stones that dim the eye
The weeds that cloud the mind
That lead to lust, to cheat and lie
That make God’s children blind
Dig up, the thorn filled barren ground
Begin the search inside
Wherever evil weeds are found
We’ll bind them where they hide
Whilst breath is in the body still
In Christ it’s not too late
Be quit of burdens that can kill
Be rid of selfish weight
But this may cause us hurt and pain
May make us cry and groan
Yet if we want God’s autumn rain –Jas.5:7
We must be rid of stone
In rocky fields, it’s light to sow
But awfully hard to till
The stones divert God’s water flow
Yet weeds receive their fill
Yet still we hold life’s burdens tight
Refuse to let them go
It’s hard through stones to see the Light
And so will it the foe…PTO…
