It’s interesting when you ask God to use you for His glory. Because He will use you in ways that you can never imagine, I have asked for a Church to lead, he has been sending people who do not believe in Christ, who have walked away from the faith, or accepted Christ with lip service but never made a heart commitment to him. The couple I am talking to now want to get married, but neither of them are believers. She does not attend Church, he is a practicing pagan and at this point I do not believe they are ready for what married life will bring to the table for them.
I have only just begun to talk to them, yesterday I met with him as we talked it seemed that he really does not know much about the religion he says he believes in, We talked at length about it and he admitted that he has not “put away his Bible” to me that means there is still sometime to reach him. Today I will meet with her and see where she is at. They are polite kids and I would love to have contact with them after they are married if that is the route we decide that they will go. Currently, they live together with his parents, and do not have a clue what life is really about.
After talking with her mother on the phone it seems that her daughter left in a not so good way, according to her mother the attitude is what ever, I don’t know, I don’t care. It is extremely hard to raise children these day’s with the right to raise a child the way I was raised clearly forbidden by the law. Kids today run amuck. The cults see to be able to blindly lead them away from the church with ease because the children have no firm grasp of what being a Christian is really all about.
My heart aches when I see young people going into things like paganism, Wicca, Jehovah’s witness, the Mormons and the like most of the time the church is so busy doing other things that they either don’t pursue the young or they don’t follow up on the one who make a profession of faith and they walk away. I have cried out loud to the Lord many times when I see a child has gone missing, or run away from home in defiance of their parents.
Life outside is very different from life on the streets, where you have no protection from the weather, not knowing where you will have your next meal, eating from garbage cans, hiding from pimps, and gangs. Drugs and alcohol and a very real part of life, most times it not a matter of choice, but a matter of being forced into it.
A wedding should always be about the marriage, now I know some of you are saying well DUH!!!, But hear me out. When young people get the idea to get married it’s usually about hey we’re ok living together why don’t we get married? But it’s not the reason to get married. The reason should be that you love this person and you don’t ever want to be with anyone else, I mean they are the mo in your mojo, they are the one thing in your life that gets you excited about starting and ending your day. I mean you look at them each day and say WOW! How lucky am I, that this person said yes to spending the rest of their life with me, even if I look like a mac truck ran me over when they see me in the morning.
God is author of marriage He is the founder of marriage, When He saw that everything in creation had a male and female accept His one perfect creation (Adam) He realized and said “It is not good for man to be alone, and from the man God created the perfect counter part.

Are you telling me that the person I married is my perfect counterpart?” I will answer yes, unless there is you are being beaten and hurt physically and emotionally, or mentally, they are your perfect counterpart. They must be because you thought to marry them. Saints do not mis understand me, no marriage is perfect, there are flaws in every marriage because we are not yet perfected. But there is always a way to make the marriage work if you try. [/FONT]
