recently i got home from work and noticed my back yard had been on fire. i live in the woods near neighbors and the trees and brush are burned like they had been in large flames. the burns go up the trees. neighbors who walk by many times a day never say or smelled anything. no flames were actually ever seen. the burns go around everything. the ground around the shed, deck, garage, snowmobiles and even under the boardwalk is burned, but nothing else. how could fire burn around and under things but not burn the actual things? has anyone heard of similar experiences?
