After an evening of answering mail, saying prayers and listening to a few online sermons, I wanted to reflect a few moments on the "wins" and "losses" in my walk with God.Having recently rededicated my life to God, I am finding that the struggles are the same, but victories are sweeter. I have offered my life and will to our Lord, but living it... whew!
Today I managed to blow my conviction about watching my mouth and using profanity. Took all of 2 seconds to blow that one! Yet, the rest of the day was full of small victories, so I am encouraged.
Prayer has always been difficult for me. It was confusing at best and discouraging at worst. I seem to have crossed the hurdle so to speak, and am now enjoying a richer and more satisfying prayer life. I made my very first prayer list today! Whoo Hoo!
Speaking my faith, sharing what the Lord is doing in my life has also stepped to the forefront. I must be doing something right - I'm winning friends and influencing people (lol). A "friend" said that I made them want to puke with my pushing Jesus down their throat! Amazing that I now find this once fearful experience a wonderful thing!
So, today has been a real blessing to me and I hope for you too!
