Vessels Refined

Not all will see The Father’s face
Nor dwell The Promised Land
But those who die living by grace
As Heaven always planned

Not all will flee the coming wrath
Escape the pit of hell
But those walking God’s chosen path
Who’ve sought Salvation’s Well

Be filled from life’s eternal Spring
Be vessels pure as gold
Be dogs for Christ who’ll safely bring
God’s sheep into the fold

Not every cup will Heaven fill
Nor every vessel used
But those doing The Father’s will
However much abused

Though sometimes broke with crack and chip
Though often cast aside
Yet such in oil The Lord will dip
For service to the bride

Wanting to serve meeting the need
Through Jesus’ hand repaired
Vessels to bring and used to feed
In hope of Heavens shared

From gold no fire could more refine
Transformed at Jesus’ feet
Flowing with oil with choicest wine
And fruit luscious and sweet

As chosen cups of living stone
We’ll stand eternal blessed
Vessels refined for Heaven’s throne
In God’s eternal rest
