I recently took a sample. Asking the respondents the questions:
“Do you tithe?” and “Why do you tithe?”
The answers I got are summarized:
“Yes, I tithe because I know the repercussions of not tithing…”
This was the general response I received from Christians that I met. I never did find a person who didn’t mention the negative. But remember, this was a ‘sample’.
God is Love. Every Law or instruction He gives in the Holy Scriptures is for our good.
The Word reveals His goodness to us.
