No selfless life so grim
No greater love could ere unfold
Than that displayed through Him
He’s love He’s love as is His name
Great love He longs to give
Through love He came bore all our shame
That we through Him may live
Though God! He chose a human birth
To bring His loving Son
To live to die as flesh on earth
That victory may be won
With love divine splendid supreme
Heartfelt selfless and true
Only those found living its dream
Have endless life in view
Eternal life eternal love
With Christ! God First & Last
Eternity; to spend above
When time on earth has past
Such selfless love can never fail
Onward up and higher
Always will it’s strength prevail
When even tried by fire
Who’ve sampled in their darkest hour
Who’s tasted of its flow
