When time’s no more, at death’s demise
When evil has reached its height
For hearts the living Truth’s made wise
For souls adorned in white
God’s building tomorrow’s city
Not from bricks or sand
With faithfulness, life’s committee
With righteousness as planned
No mortal hand will cause to rise
This miracle divine
Where no one fears, no one dies
Where love will all combine
With living stones forming each wall
With praise each gate, each door
Always open to one and all
With love forever more
There, is obedience destiny
Christ’s faithful honoured few
Seeing the truth on Calvary’s tree
In faith they would pursue
Just as The Father always planned
Even before man’s dawn
As living stones in Jesus hand
God’s holy city was born
Was standing in eternity
A fabric of His mind
Constructed, by His Royal decree
A city of mankind
Give God your soul, your flesh and bone
To change, always to stand
Connected with life’s Corner Stone
