Why do now churches grow humdrum?
Congregation wax few?
What's to hear, when newcomers come?
Souls, hungry lost can view?
The Vicar, the Pastor the Priest,
May speak the Gospel precise
Of Satan, God, of the beast
But what about the price?
Arriving with hunger and thirst
Anxious from head to toe
Meeting their need should be first
Before they up and go
Life's living Bread should be given
Water from Heaven's Well
Hearts heard, heavy souls forgiven
Set free of ending in hell
How oft is the church unresponsive?
Leadership, being self willed
Failing to meet the objective
Denying cups to be filled
God's the benevolent giver
Guarding each precious soul
Life's perfect meal, to deliver
One's empty life, make whole
Let The Lord Almighty guide us
Pray for His Word in time
Let the church with God discuss
